Tuesday

Wanting to blog but insanely tired. I'm failing at the Me blog project and I don't even have the energy to play catch up tonight. We had a crazy day at school and I did a million things afterschool. Ran errands and had dinner with the Hubby and then ran out to my parents house to sell their old car to a friend from school. I was able to sell that baby in less than 3 days. :) I guess the 5 years working in sales at Guitar Center is still running through my blood.




We are starting to decorate for Halloween now that it's officially September. Hehe Loved looking at the new things at Michaels today.






I still have the bats I made last year. Time to recreate the bat cave!



I got my ring cleaned today. It was too sparkley for the camera to focus on. After looking at all the rings again at the jewelers today I'm still in love with mine. I did find some matching diamond earrings that I wouldn't be opposed to wearing. ;)

iPad photos...

This gadget is beautiful! I took some quick photos just to post. I didn't bother trying to figure out how to get rid of the glare on all of the pretty shiny things but you get the picture. I love being able to sit on the couch and do almost everything I would on my desktop with a much lighter device than my MacBook. If you are an avid traveler this is a must have. I'm now wishing we had bought it before our European vacation because it would have been nice to have.

We got a pretty basic case for now. I wasn't in love with any of the more protective cases Best Buy had to offer. This will do for now.

Photos really look amazing on this screen. I will definitely be taking this to my parents house every Sunday night to show off any new photos I have. I've been using my iPhone just because it's convenient but this quality blows away the iPhone4.

Plenty of Apple <3 in this household. a few things not even pictured: our gunmetal gray iPods, Brad's iPhone and my old MacBook. I've totally converted Brad and we will never buy any computers that are not Apple. I hope my school switches over eventually so I can have iMacs in my classroom.

Blogging from my new iPad! It's so damn neat. Brad was going to get me one for Christmas but decided to give it to me early as a late anniversary gift. :) I'm one happy girl.

My lovely husband just made us some yummy waffles and coffee to start the day out right. He's a huge fan of breakfast, though I'd rather just have some iced coffee to hold me over until lunch.




Time to do some things around the house. Run by my parents to drop of some things and show Brad their new vehicle. Then we are off to check out a new gadget that Brad just might buy fir me today. :] I'm crossing my fingers on this one.

Love it!

Searching for a new hair style because I'm wanting to chop off some hair. I don't have the time to style long hair. I'm always on the go so I need something that takes less time. Anyway, I saw this photo while searching and it looks like Gwen is at a hotel very similar to our Paris hotel! I love it. Though I wasn't a huge fan if Paris, I loved our hotel windows/balcony. <3

Woohoo

My parents just bought the nicest new vehicle! It's funny because each new car I've had I always got black. My parents always try to talk me out of it because of how dirty they can look in dusty Bakersfield bit guess what color they got today. Black! I told them I'm rubbing off on them. :) I think I really am. They love all of the black furniture we have and my mom keeps talking about redecorating their house so we will have to wait and see.

Tuesday is back in action!!!

I'm so happy that Tuesday is almost completely healed from his battle wound!!! He's a pretty bad ass cat who apparently likes to get into it with the neighborhood cats. Easily annoyed by dumbness I guess. Wonder where he gets that from... :> Here he is on our new mattress. With our bran new pillows and pricey mattress I reeeallly don't want to get out of bed in the morning!!

So far, I completed 3 days of the blog challenge and am going to do a late entry for day 4 which I had missed yesterday. I was insanely busy getting my classroom ready and helping out/photographing a wedding yesterday!!

Wedding!

We had the best time at the wedding tonight!!! I usually hate weddings and can't wait to leave but tonight was different. We were friends with almost everyone who attended so it felt like one big get together. My friend asked me to be her photographer after I took their engagement photos so that was a bit stressful. My poor hubby had to sacrifice some sleep but he had a blast and even danced! He never dances!!! Poor guy has to work at 5am though and we just barely got home. He's a trooper. <3












We toasted with tequila instead of champagne. Wowza!

The Most Perfect Ring

It seems like I've been getting a lot of compliments on my now year old wedding ring. ❤ While we were in Europe there was at least one person in each city who gave me a compliment on it. Most people comment on how unique it is and how they love the vintage look it has. It makes me smile because that's exactly what I was going for. You can't see in this picture all of the detail on the side but it's definitely a one of a kind ring.... literally... my husband custom designed it so that no other girl would have one like it. :) He knows me well. I don't like to look or act like everyone else. I tend to put my own spin on everything I do/wear and a wedding ring is no exception.

All about London.

The history of me.

Tonight we had dinner with my parents and spent hours talking about our European adventures. It was really fun but the best part was my dad telling me the entire history of my family coming to the states. Both sides of my family came from South Germany and I didn't know it was my great grandparents who came over. I thought it was much farther back in my family tree. Amazing. I love the fact that I'm 100% German. <3

Time

I need to find the time to blog about Europe. The trip was such a whirlwind because we were busy every second we were there. Maybe I can get around to blog today or tomorrow. :]

In smaller news, the iPhone 4 is pretty cool. Not a whole lot different from my 3Gs but the speedier processing and better camera is nice.

Ready to leave Paris!

The city has been fun but I'm ready to hop a train and leave for Germany. I hope the people of my homeland are more fun than the grumpy French. Not sure how you could live in this beautiful city and have the ugliest scowl on your face but the people here look miserable. Very strange.
